Follow these instructions to customize a new album or an existing album. It's never too late to customize your photo album.

On the Album Appearance page (accessed via the Album Management menu), after selecting an album template to use, scroll down to see the many ways you can customize your album.

1. Upload a Background Image
You can add a custom page (the whole webpage) or panel (just the panels that hold your photos and photo index) background image to your photo album. Use the same image for both if you want to have an overall background. Be careful about using different page and panel background images, which could make your album appear busy and also detract from your photos. Your background images will tile, which means they'll repeat over and over to fill the page.

2. Pick your Fonts
Use the form to select the font sizes and colors you want. Make sure the colors are bright or dark enough to be legible against the background you picked!

3. Add Images and Links
Add images and links to your Album Introduction to make it feel really personal. You can write HTML right into the Album Introduction field.

4. Write Titles and Captions
Tell visitors to your photo album all about your photos with titles and captions. You can type them in when you're uploading your photos or add them later by clicking the Edit Album link.

5. Advanced Customization
If you would like to customize your photo album even farther, you can do that by editing the CSS of the album via the Advanced Appearance link under the Album Management menu.
